LIV BLANKSON

Fashion Blogger

MAR 2, 2018

“Intuative, Honest and immersed in creativity”- LIV

Liv Blankson is a blogger based in London but originally from Brighton. She uses her blog as a ‘scrapbook’ where she is free to post anything creative and fashion related which has interested her.

With 27K she is getting more recognized on Instagram, but is definitely still underrated with more basic and commercial fashion accounts on Instgram racking in hundreds of thousands of followers. It seems a waste that people recognise the copy cat accounts instead of Instagram and blog accounts like LIV’s which show original style and thought out imagery and concepts.

Alongside her Instagram account she runs her blog which she posts on nearly as often as her Instagram, the two run harmoniously side by side. She uses her blog as a more in depth analysis of her Instagram posts.

CHARISSA CHIOCCARELLI

ISLA FOUNDER

(NAIL BAR MEET STREETWEAR)

Gounder of Isla based in Berlin. After Charissa moved from Amsterdam to Berlin, she began her business venture after she tried to get her nails done in the Instagram style she was used to but found that Berlin was not up to date with that trend and could achieve the look and design she wanted. Knowing that Berlin obviously on the know with this nail trend, she thought the focus of the store couldn’t only be nails, so she decided to incorporate street wear into the brand.

APR 13, 2018

“A cool hang out space for women.”

The store is not only a nail bar but has been made to be a sanctuary for women to get their nails done whilst browsing hyped street-wear brand. Isla stocks brands like Fila and obey and contrasts them with new and emerging brands such as Namilia and daily paper.

With Isla being a nail bar most would think its purely for women but many would be surprised to know that the clothing is mostly uni-sex and men can also shop there, so Charissa decided to only use male models for her campaigns.
